Everything about the world famous sighthound weekend
In 1975 the Swedish Sighthound Club Eastern Chapter arranged a summer show in Skokloster. Many breed clubs started to hold their breed specialties in Skokloster on the same weekend. As time went by a close knit cooperation developed between the breed clubs and the Eastern Chapter. This is how the internationally famous “Skokloster week-end” was created. At the jubilee exhibition in Skokloster 1986 no less than 935 dogs participated.
Today, despite the exhibition being organized elsewhere, the name “Skokloster” has been kept because of the historical significance.
